About me

I'm an amateur photographer who loves this part of France. I spend as much time as I can in the region, taking photographs of places both relatively well-known and very obscure. I'm as interested in photography as a medium as I am in the geography of the area.

For the more technically minded I have used a Nikon D70 with 10.5, 18-70 and 55-200 mm lenses for all the images on the site up until 9th October 2006. I've now upgraded to a D200 (stunning!) and look forward to putting shots from the new body on the site in due course. Not that the extra quality will be visible in the low resolution JPEGs on a web page, I'm afraid.
